My Awesome 20th Shroud Run
Three Difficulties In DDO
While getting ready to run my 20th Reaver’s Fate, a dood named Irefuze who was running with us told us what the three different difficulties in DDO were.
Normal, I-Like-Wasting-My-Time and I-Like-Wasting-My-Time-A-Lot!
Meet The Monsters Of Menace Of The Underdark
Seems we are going to be in for a treat when the newest expansion, Menace Of The Underdark comes out with some nifty new monsters to kill.

Behind The Scenes Of Menace Of The Underdark
God I hope they don’t break anything when this comes out, but at least we can put faces to the idiots that have been breaking things and making our lives harder in the game.
The Great TR Checklist
General Considerations:
* Have you collected all of you quest end rewards and quest chain rewards?
* Are you close to completing a quest chain? i.e. Are you close to a 20th Raid completion or 3rd chain completion. Check by typing /quest completion
* Have you check out any new quests or quests you haven’t tired yet? (try them while you are high level cause they could have mad lootz)
* Take screen shots of your toon’s appearance and character sheet for historical purposes
* Set aside some cash if case you will need it
* Make sure you have another toon flagged for the Shroud so you can keep collecting ingredients
* Collect Seals of the Stormreaver and Seals of the Abbot to upgrade some raid loot before you TR
* Fill your backpack and bank – it all goes in the TR cache and can be withdrawn when needed
* Do you have a leveling buddy?
Have you planned out your next character? If not then check out some of these character planners below.

Quests by level and XP
Favor Considerations And Items To Purchase Before Resurrecting:
* How close are you to next favor tier?
* Did you collect your +2 tome from 1750 favor your next life? (Remember tomes now persist through TR!)
* Phiarlan pendant of time
* Get an extra Silver Flame Symbol and put it in your bank (This improves regeneration while in a town or tavern and it causes the character to permanently receive 4HP + 10SP instead of the default 2HP + 5SP per 6 seconds)
* Silver Flame pots
* Large Ingredient bag from Twelve favor
Items To Get For Crafting (if you plan on building your toon’s crafting lvls back up)
* Marks of Silver Flame (for crafting)
* Marks of Yugoloth (for crafting)
* Marks of Cannith (for crafting)
* Cannith purchased crafting xp pots
* Cannith purchased crafting success hammers
Flagging, & Turn Ins:
* Is your Silver Flame / Emerald Claw Necropolis trinket upgraded?
* Get your Sigil of Dal-Quor repaired
* Save an extra set of the Phylactery, Orb of Djinn, and Blessed Blood from Desert farming runs
* 9 dragon, 9 elven and 9 giant relics for Gianthold
* Complete an extra Sigil frame from Orchard of Macabre
* Collect 20 extra tapestry pieces from Orchard in case you want a different helm at level 11
* Farm the orchard for tome pages (or shield pieces) – Skiver, Sever, etc are pretty nice to have at mid levels.
* Get your Boots of Anchoring
* Save 3 dragon gems for Reaver’s Refuge
* Grab or buy an extra Eberron, Siberys & Khyber dragonshard essences from Reavers Refuge
* Get Drangontouched armor/docent appropriate for your next life
* Collect 9 extra Shavrath trophies of war for rings in the next life
* Turn in Invasion tokens and collect an appropriate reward
* Run Dreaming Dark 3 times to collect your 6 Crystal Shard of Dreams for Dreaming Dark alter so you can unsuppress “something” for your next life
Items To Get Rid Of To Save Room In Your TR Cache For More Useful Gear:
* Spell components (they’re cheap, buy them later)
* Guild pots (easy to replace)
* Tiny bags (these can be useful for organizing your stuff, but ditch them if you are not using them)
* Note: You CANNOT sell stuff at a bar and repurchase it after TR. All items in your buyback are cleared.
* You can also mail anything that isn’t bound to an alt and just let it return to you in the mail in a few weeks or put in your shared bank account.
Useful (and relatively easy To acquire) Low Level Gear:
* Collapsed portable hole (for Coin Lord backpack upgrade)
* Festival cookies and cakes
* Crystal Cove trinkets and gear appropriate to next life (If you don’t already)
* 100+ Air Elemental gems
* Upgraded Ioun stones
* Other tomes appropriate to next life

Menace of the Underdark: Druid Transformation
Players and Guilds to Watch Out For or Why Inbreeding Is Bad
For anyone who has ever played DDO on the Argonnessen server sadly knows the guild named Aces over Kings. They have a poor reputation and it was well earned by all of its members. They have been banned from posting on the official DDO forums because they simply cannot act decent, let alone human. They are lepers to all other players plain and simple.
Recently a new guild has risen and is trying to make a name for itself, literately as well as figuratively: AoK. They have made a forum post asking for someone to “fill in the letters” so to speak of their initials, AoK. Obviously the lack of mental faculties from anyone involved failed to remove themselves from the name that became loathed (Aces over Kings, gah) or simply in their clouded and foggy thought processes considered it a joke to everyone else and kept the original guild name initials. Since Abortion or Afterbirth couldn’t be used in what is and should be a family friendly forum jokes were made and laughingly “Ambassadors of Kindness” was settled on.
Sadly we fell to the trap laid down by this “new” guild during a Reaver’s Fate raid. When accepting members via the LFM it was debated to allow this player from AoK in or not. It was decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and let them in since it’s supposed to be a different guild than Aces over Kings. Ah well. We learned better.
The worthless lazy fuck that was allowed in is named Merlocc (player: Merlocke) and he simply just stood around and did nothing. Absolutely nothing. For the entire raid.
Which in hindsight was probably his best contribution to any party he’s been a member of.
Even when asked verbally on mic “how’s the piking going, Merlocc?” he had the retarded sense of a cum stain to answer: “going good, thanks for asking”. LOL There was actually some fat fuck sitting somewhere thinking he was (is?) being funny or “awesome” acting like this. Wow.
Worthless. Totally. Fucking. Worthless.
My first impression and reaction to someone like this is to get upset with them but quickly (and thankfully) I realize that they are simply a sad, sad result of inbreeding and not only do they not know any better probably don’t even have the capacity to realize themselves that they are what they are and therefore will not and cannot change.
I only wonder if his parents were brother and sister or father and daughter (could be mom and son I guess too).
So be forewarned: If you are a player on the server of Argonnessen do avoid anyone and everyone from the guilds of Aces over Kings and AoK. Who it is isn’t important, just the fact they they willingly choose to be a part of either of those guilds speaks volumes about themselves as game players (which I use to describe any of them very loosely).
You will always have a better, more fun gaming experience without either in your party.
Remember to avoid the following retarded inbred loosers:
Guilds:
Aces over Kings
AoK
Player Toons:
Merlocc
Merlocke
Merlocked
